The best MP3 headphones for jogging and training, Koss PortaPro headphones – and they’re cheap!

Let me start by saying that I hate MP3 player and IPOD headphones. They are completely uncomfortable, the sound sucks and they fall out of my ears while jogging and working out. They can also cause damage to the ear. For some reason most mp3 players include them for free and they are usually always crap! Anyway, after a lot of research and going through a few different sets of on-ear headphones for an mp3 player, I picked up the Koss PortaPro headphones and they are to my ears what a young Sophia Loren is to my eyes!

I bought my great Zen Nano Plus 512 mp3 player to use mainly for jogging, working out and riding public transport, and the Koss PortaPro headphones achieve everything I’ve ever wanted in an Ipod/Mp3 player headphone and more. First, they’re super light and extremely comfortable, and they stay completely on your ears when you’re running and working out and you don’t really even notice them. They also sound very good with good but not overpowering bass. If comfort and being able to wear them without them falling out while jogging/working out isn’t a factor for you then I’m sure there are a bunch of headphones out there that sound better but if you use headphones for jogging and work get them, they have the best sound with the best comfort.

The icing on the cake for the Koss PortaPro is the low $35 price you can usually find online, down from the $49.99 list price. I thoroughly recommend the Koss PortaPro headphones to anyone who wants a good comfortable pair of headphones that will stay on your ears when you work out and run and sound good too.
